Upsetting news, actor Pete Postlethwaite has died. His picture graces my bulletin board. What a great face. He was--well, still is--the inspiration for one of my characters, a gutsy chap.
I'm experiencing the most curious grief.

Yeah, I was a bit shocked at reading that as well this morning. I enjoyed him in 'The Shipping News' set here in Newfoundland.
